Studio F has worked with Melbourne based Saint Felix Distillery and Japanese restaurant Kisumé on an extraordinary collaboration uniting two trailblazer brands dedicated to inspiring the drinks and hospitality industry.

This collaboration was born from a shared desire to create something extraordinary. Combining the best of Japanese culinary artistry with the botanical expertise of Saint Felix the vision was to craft a gin that would harmonize with Kisumé's flavours.

The Kisumé brand was originally designed by Studio Ongarato to challenge and break the conventions of a Japanese dining experience. Therefore the packaging on this partnership needed to Marry the unconventional, slightly twisted and artfully-executed Kisumé with the cultural storytellers of Saint Felix.

With Kisumé meaning “A pure obsession with beauty” we created the collaboration concept Beauty Beyond Conventions, which is the concept of extending beauty beyond original perceptions.

Japanese culture promotes the idea that beauty is not confined to a narrow set of standards but can be found in individuality, creativity, the courage to break free from conformity. So we show the recognisable brand assets behind the bottle so when looking through the bottle the assets appear distorted and form an optical illusion.
